Intended use
The product is intended for indoor use as a chaise longue sofa for sitting, resting and relaxation. It is designed for indoor residential spaces and must be placed on a level, stable, clean and dry surface.
Safety and warnings
✔ Assemble the product according to the instructions supplied by the manufacturer.
✔ Before use, ensure that the legs, screws and all fasteners are correctly fitted and securely tightened.
✔ Place the product on a level, stable and resistant surface.
✔ Make sure that all legs remain in full contact with the floor.
✔ Do not exceed the maximum load or number of users specified by the manufacturer. If these are not stated, avoid overloading the product.
✔ Do not stand, jump or rock on the sofa.
✔ Do not use the product as a ladder, step, trampoline or work platform.
✔ Sit down carefully and avoid sudden impact or dropping heavily onto the seat.
✔ Do not apply concentrated pressure to the edges of the seat or the backrest.
✔ Do not sit or place your entire body weight on the backrest.
✔ Distribute body weight evenly across the seating surface.
✔ Do not allow children to jump, climb or play unsupervised on the product.
✔ This product is not a toy. Children must be supervised during use.
✔ Keep the product away from open flames, lit cigarettes, candles, stoves, radiators and other direct heat sources.
✔ Foam and polyester are combustible materials and may ignite or become damaged when exposed to fire or high temperatures.
✔ Do not place the sofa near fireplaces or heating appliances without maintaining an adequate safety distance.
✔ Avoid prolonged exposure to water, humidity, steam or direct sunlight.
✔ Pine wood and MDF may swell, deform or become damaged through prolonged contact with moisture.
✔ Do not use the product if it has unstable legs, loose joints, cracked wood or MDF components, deformed foam, torn upholstery or open seams.
✔ Stop using the product immediately if you notice instability, unusual noises or structural damage.
✔ Keep small components and packaging materials out of the reach of children.
Use
✔ Place the sofa in an area with sufficient free space around it.
✔ Keep the product away from sharp objects, hard edges and abrasive surfaces.
✔ Sit or lie down carefully without throwing yourself onto the product.
✔ Do not concentrate your entire body weight on a restricted area of the seat or backrest.
✔ Do not drag or push the sofa across the floor.
✔ When moving the product, lift it by its structural base without pulling the upholstery, cushions or backrest.
✔ Due to the size of the product, it must be moved by at least two people.
✔ Remove cushions and other objects from the sofa before moving it.
✔ Do not use the backrest or cushions as lifting points.
✔ Use suitable protective pads under the legs when placing the product on parquet or other sensitive flooring.
✔ Do not place heavy, hot, wet or sharp objects on the upholstery.
✔ Regularly inspect the stability, legs, joints, seams and general condition of the upholstery.
Care and maintenance
✔ Regularly remove dust using a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner set to low power and fitted with an upholstery attachment.
✔ Treat stains immediately by gently blotting them without aggressive rubbing.
✔ Use a clean white cloth, slightly dampened, and a mild detergent suitable for polyester.
✔ Test any cleaning product on an inconspicuous area before general application.
✔ Do not soak the upholstery, foam, wood or MDF with water.
✔ Wipe up spilled liquids immediately and allow the area to dry naturally in a well-ventilated space.
✔ Do not use the sofa while the upholstery or foam is damp.
✔ Do not use bleach, solvents, alcohol, abrasive products or aggressive chemicals.
✔ Do not use steam-cleaning equipment unless this method is expressly authorised by the manufacturer.
✔ Do not use a hair dryer, radiator or another direct heat source to dry the product.
✔ If the covers or cushions are removable, follow the cleaning instructions provided on the product label.
✔ Protect the upholstery from pets and objects that may catch, cut or puncture it.
✔ Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as this may alter the appearance or colour of the material.
✔ Regularly inspect the legs, screws and joints and tighten the fasteners when necessary.
✔ Structural repairs must be performed only by competent persons using compatible parts.
Packaging and disposal
✔ Remove all packaging materials before using the product.
✔ Do not allow children to play with plastic film, bags, straps, staples or other packaging components. These may present a suffocation or injury hazard.
✔ Sort cardboard, plastic and other packaging materials according to local collection regulations.
✔ Do not burn the product or its components. Burning foam, polyester, wood or MDF may generate hazardous smoke and substances.
✔ At the end of the product’s service life, dispose of it according to local regulations.
✔ Where possible, separate the pine wood, MDF, foam, polyester, metal and plastic components before recycling or disposal.
