Intended use
The product is intended for indoor use as a coffee table supporting household objects of limited size and weight. It must be placed on a level, stable, clean and dry surface.
Marble is a natural material. Variations in colour, veining, texture and porosity are natural characteristics and do not necessarily constitute product defects.
Safety and warnings
✔ Assemble the product according to the instructions supplied by the manufacturer.
✔ Before use, ensure that the marble tops are correctly positioned and secured.
✔ Check the stability of the iron structure, legs, welds and fasteners.
✔ Place the table on a level, stable surface capable of supporting the product’s weight.
✔ Make sure that all supporting points remain in contact with the floor.
✔ Do not use the product on sloping, uneven or slippery floors.
✔ Do not sit, stand or climb on the table.
✔ Do not use the product as a seat, ladder, step or work platform.
✔ Do not exceed the maximum load specified by the manufacturer. If none is stated, avoid overloading the tops.
✔ Distribute objects evenly across the marble surfaces.
✔ Do not place heavy objects on the edges of the tops.
✔ Do not apply concentrated pressure or drop heavy objects onto the marble.
✔ Marble is a heavy material and may crack, chip or break following an impact.
✔ Do not use the table if the marble is cracked, chipped, loose or detached from its support.
✔ Avoid thermal shock. Do not place very hot or very cold objects directly on the marble.
✔ Use heat-resistant mats under hot containers, cups and objects.
✔ Marble is porous and may absorb liquids, oils and coloured substances. Wipe up spills immediately.
✔ Do not allow acidic substances such as vinegar, lemon juice, wine or limescale removers to contact the marble. They may etch and stain the surface.
✔ Do not push the table by placing your entire body weight on the top.
✔ Do not allow children to climb, jump or play on or underneath the table.
✔ If the marble cracks or breaks, stop using the product and handle fragments while wearing protective gloves.
✔ Do not use the product if the iron structure is bent, corroded, unstable or has damaged welds.
✔ Keep the table away from persistent moisture and direct heat sources.
✔ This product is not a toy. Children must be supervised when near it.
Use
✔ Position the table where it does not obstruct walkways.
✔ Place objects gently without impact against the marble surfaces.
✔ Do not drop or slide heavy or sharp-edged objects across the top.
✔ Use protective mats under glasses, containers, vases and decorative objects.
✔ Do not place wet, oily or strongly coloured objects directly on the marble.
✔ Do not drag or push the product across the floor.
✔ Remove all objects from the surfaces before moving the table.
✔ Due to the weight and fragility of the marble, the product must be moved by at least two people.
✔ Lift the table by its structural iron frame and properly support the tops.
✔ Do not lift or transport the table solely by holding the marble tops.
✔ If the tops are removable, transport them separately in an upright position with suitable protection.
✔ Wear protective gloves and closed footwear when handling the marble components.
✔ Use suitable protective pads under the base on sensitive flooring.
✔ Regularly check the stability of the structure and security of the tops.
Care and maintenance
✔ Remove dust from the marble using a soft, clean and dry cloth.
✔ For cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and a pH-neutral product suitable for natural stone.
✔ Wipe and completely dry the surface immediately after cleaning.
✔ Immediately remove water, coffee, tea, wine, juices, cosmetics, fats and oils.
✔ Do not use vinegar, lemon juice, limescale removers, chlorine, ammonia or acidic detergents.
✔ Do not use abrasive powders, hard sponges, metal brushes, blades or sharp objects.
✔ Do not use steam-cleaning equipment.
✔ Do not apply wax, varnish, sealant or other stone treatments unless recommended by the manufacturer.
✔ Clean the iron frame using a soft, dry or very slightly damp cloth.
✔ Dry the iron components immediately to reduce the risk of corrosion.
✔ Do not use solvents or abrasive substances that may damage the metal finish.
✔ Regularly inspect the marble, frame, welds and fasteners.
✔ Stop using the product if cracks, chips, instability or detachment of the tops are observed.
✔ Repairs and replacement of marble components must be performed only by competent persons.
Packaging and disposal
✔ Remove all packaging materials before using the product.
✔ Do not allow children to play with plastic film, bags, straps, staples or other packaging components. These may present a suffocation or injury hazard.
✔ Handle the packaging of the marble components carefully, as the product is heavy and may have hard edges.
✔ Sort cardboard, plastic and other packaging materials according to local collection regulations.
✔ Marble fragments must be handled with gloves and packaged so that they cannot cause cuts or other injuries.
✔ At the end of the product’s service life, dispose of it according to local regulations.
✔ Where possible, separate the iron, marble and plastic components before recycling or disposal.
