Safety and warnings
⚠ Slipping hazard — place the rug on a clean, dry, flat surface; use a non-slip underlay on smooth floors (parquet, tile, laminate).
⚠ Tripping hazard — make sure edges and corners lie flat on the floor.
⚠ Keep away from young children and pets during unpacking.
⚠ Keep away from open flames and direct heat sources.
✔ Periodically check that the non-slip underlay remains effective.
Use
✔ Lay the rug fully flat, without folds or raised corners.
✔ On first use, allow the rug to air out to dissipate any new-product odour.
⚠ Natural materials (cotton, wool, jute) may shed fibres during the first weeks — this is normal and decreases over time.
Care and maintenance
✔ Follow each product's care label: some are machine washable (30°C/40°C), others require spot cleaning, hand washing, or professional cleaning only.
✔ Vacuum regularly, without a rotating brush on long-pile or hand-woven rugs.
⚠ Wool and jute items must NOT be machine washed — spot/professional cleaning only.
⚠ Do not use bleach or aggressive cleaning agents.
✔ Dry completely before reuse; avoid prolonged exposure to moisture (mould risk, especially jute and wool).
⚠ Colours may fade with direct, prolonged sun exposure.
Packaging and disposal
✔ Recyclable packaging where applicable.
✔ Dispose of the product and packaging according to local waste regulations.
